Lori is the Managing Partner at Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits. She serves as the visionary of the organization as well as oversees all operations, while continuing to serve many of her own

long-time clients. 

Over the course of her 24-year career in the human resources industry, she knows that benefits are a moving target, and customers need a knowledgeable resource that stays on top of the ever-changing industry. 

Lori was raised in an entrepreneurial family; her parents bought their first grocery store when she was a child. She says, “When you are raised by parents who own their own business, we quickly learned that a strong work ethic was important and the value of serving others first was paramount to success. In my career, these principles of service provided me the tenacity and spring-board to emulate my parents and help other companies obtain sustainable employee and executive benefits so that businesses can attract new talent, retain the talent they have, and grow their business without disruption.”

Steve Dabelow is a senior associate at AEEB, Inc. Steve specializes in helping business owners and employees make smart choices about their benefit elections. He has been in the insurance and financial services business since 1990 serving both business owners and individuals with their planning needs. Having run multiple family businesses prior to his present position, Steve understands the challenges businesses face regarding their employee benefits, and is able to communicate on their level. Steve graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, with majors in Economics and History.  Steve also has four times been nominated and awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award for his community volunteer commitments.

Bob started in the insurance industry in North Dakota representing carriers in the employee benefit arena, in 1986. In 1992 moved to Minneapolis – Saint Paul area and continued in the employee benefits industry as an independent marketing representative for many carriers. In 2000 started focusing on the Third-Party Administration of tax advantaged plans and was a contractor representing and selling TPA services until joining and working fulltime with Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits, Inc. 

Currently consulting and marketing Employee Benefits to small and mid-sized groups in the states of MN, ND, & SD. By concentrating on tax advantage solutions and plan design we solve employer benefit concerns and develop benefit structures that can enhance an employer’s benefit offering to their employees. This helps attract and retain the best employees.

Bob Stein |


Heidi joined the Armbruster team in 2018.  She specializes in Medicare, Individual/Family Insurance and Small Company Employee Benefits.  She began her insurance and financial services career 30 years ago working with annuities, mutual funds, taxes, property / casualty insurance and has focused on health insurance for the last 15 years. 


She believes in giving back to her community and industry.  She was appointed by the Governor to serve a 4-year term on the Minnesota Board on Aging – advocating for Minnesota’s Seniors.  She also served 2 terms on the Health Industry Advisory Committee to the MNSure Board of Directors.  She has been actively involved with the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters and has served as its President and on the Board of Directors for many years.  In 2018, she was awarded the Symanitz Lifetime achievement award.

Heidi lives in Andover with her husband Larry.  She loves to play hockey in her spare time.

Sonja Hall has over fifteen years’ experience in the Employee Benefits Insurance Industry. Previously she was affiliated with a large financial services company where she served as a senior consultant and was selected to be part of an elite group of advisors. She has also worked in both a corporate environment and owned an award-winning construction company, resulting in robust business experience.


Here at Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits, Sonja plays an important role. She manages our operations and handles our clients’ needs, serving as a resource, guide and problem solver.

Brian brings a whole picture approach to employee benefits, with a background in both traditional and supplemental benefits. Having spent the past several years working with small businesses, Brian believes in forming the long term relationships that ultimately protect your most important assets. 

Since moving to the Twin Cities, he has quickly grown roots, finding himself very involved with his community, as well as several local non-profits. He lives north of Saint Paul with his wife and son.

Brad worked for a large national insurance company before specializing in individual/family health insurance, Medicare and small employer plans since 2005. Brad has helped many navigate through the ever changing health insurance markets over the years helping find a good fit for their needs.

Brad is a member of local and national affiliations including MAHU, NAHU and is MNsure certified which keeps him up to date on current events in the community and nationally.

Brad has a son that keeps him busy and enjoys participating in various sports throughout the year.

Andy Wayt has over ten years of working in the Executive and Ownership planning space. His specialty is in engaging clients in multiple roles to guarantee the overall plan is executed correctly. Owners and executives looking for guidance on how to attract and retain key employees, transfer their business, or begin setting the business up for sale are areas he can help with. If you care about your business and your colleagues, we can help you find a way to keep both around until retirement.

Jessica joined the Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits Team as a Client Services Specialist in November 2021. She has been in client-facing positions in the finance industry and brings her passion for helping others to Armbruster. Her role at AEEB is to provide first-step communication for clients to our Brokers and Healthcare Carriers to answer questions, address concerns, or engage in resolutions. Jessica is there to assist our clients in understanding and submitting their enrollments, changes, or cancellations and handles questions on the process. She is currently enrolled at the University of River Falls to complete her Bachelor's degree in Business Management. When she isn't at Armbruster, she enjoys spending time with her children, outdoor activities, hockey in the winter, and reading.

Monica’s passion for helping people led her to earn her B.S. in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling & Guidance and she also obtained her Human Resources Advanced Technical Certificate.


After serving as a counselor for several years, she realized that she wanted to apply her skills in the world of business as an HR professional to help people create work environments that nurtured employees both professionally and personally.  Monica believes that when employees spend 40+ hours every week at work, that time should safe, comfortable, and fulfilling.


Over the next fifteen years, she held multiple leadership positions at both behavioral and medical health companies, helping them grow their business and become more efficient in their processes.  In 2019, Monica joined the Armbruster team as a HR Consultant.


In addition to holding her SHRM-CP and PHR, she has a Life and Health License for Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota.  Monica is a long-standing member of SHRM and TCSHRM.
